Werkzaamheden: The Key Account Manager will deal mainly with distributors, but will be required to visit retailers as well. Your mission will be increasing the Company's understanding of the market and the customers in Benelux, growing the business using the resources made available by the Company. You will report to the International Business Manager for Germany and Benelux.

Job Responsibilities:
•Maintain, develop and improve the relationship with existing and new business accounts, understanding our markets, improving communication and supporting their efforts to grow and develop the business.
•Communicate ongoing market factors including foreseeable and potentially unforeseen issues to proper RSC associates, while offering possible solutions.
•Build market and customers knowledge through data and statistics to develop promotions, pricing programs, forecasting and appropriate terms and condition for each country.
•Manage SGA through responsible individual spending and in-line with annual guidelines.
•Maintain and develop strong product knowledge, their functionality, local legal requirements and use to present them to any level of the industry.
•Develop and maintain an optimal working relationship with all RSC departments to improve our market knowledge and customer relationships as well as helping other departments when necessary. Maintain and promote harmony among fellow RSC associates: a professional, thoughtful and positive working environment is essential to longevity in business.
•Collaborate with developing & implement an appropriate channels strategy for each country that maximizes the availability of our products in the market place.
•Meet with our retail partners as often as necessary to maintain and improve relationship and business levels
•Work with Marketing to ensure that our retail partners have the appropriate marketing tools and support to maximize the potential of our business.
•Using the appropriate tools (Sales force and cognos) ensure that sales and category managers are kept up to date on business levels, opportunities and developments at each retail partner.

Functieprofiel: •Key Account Manager with minimum 2 years experience.
•Fluent in Dutch, English & French.
•Experience in the Sales pet industry.

•Solid Communication skills including native fluency of the particular native languages and a working knowledge of English to facilitate appropriate, clear and positive dialogue. Fluency in two other European languages; Dutch and French.
•Possess the skills to communicate to people of all levels and the ability to facilitate meetings on highest levels.
•Comprehensive knowledge of the total Pet market, how RSC and its customers interact within it, and how one sector of the International market fits into another so as to spend your energy on what can be changed
•The capability to manage major accounts, and implement policy against the agreed Strategy.
•Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
•Comprehension and working knowledge of the RSC org Chart as it pertains to Categories and their interaction with the International SSU.
•Monthly reporting on BSC metrics is required.
•Experienced in sharing best practices and be open to suggestions for improvement.
•Understand and integrate the cultural biases and assumptions that may affect communication to/from customers.
•Work through, explain and shed light on those assumptions whenever necessary.

Aanbod: The salary depends on the candidate experience; €40 to €65 K + up to 10% bonus. Including a number of benefits like Medical insurance & Pension plan, Life & disability insurance.

A full time & and permanent contract. On the top of the salary we will offer a car allowance.
